“The Bell Towers”

Culturally, across the globe, bells of all sizes have held a deep symbolic meaning often associated with the mind, body, and the expansion of consciousness for millennia. As well, they communicate certain times of day which was especially important when clocks were not yet in widespread use.

The song “The Bell Towers” tries to capture those small, varying perceptions of time with respect to each listener’s location; particularly on a calm night at sea where sound can carry over miles.
Often multiple towers ring simultaneously further adding distortions in timing and pitch making it difficult to distinguish their origin.
